Be a Winner in the Casino

Casino Gambling – The Inside Track

Hello! My name is John Batya and I am a professional Roulette and Black Jack player. I spend my working days in the casino and it strikes me how many people have absolutely no idea of what they are doing when risking their hard-earned money. Consequently, I see people losing their money unnecessarily.

I hate to see this happen so often and I have decided to publish some successful Betting Strategies that I use. Mind you, the Casinos are in business to take your money in a pain-free way: They give you free drinks, free shows and sometimes free dinners, free travel and other comps. Since it is a free world, there is absolutely nothing against that. But it is also fair for you to come to the casino armed with knowledge about how to defend yourself.

When you gamble, you must have a “must win” attitude. Gambling is a serious business and real Money is involved. When people say they gamble strictly for recreational purposes, that is nonsense!

I have listed a series of Betting Strategies that you can choose from. These systems have been used by the best professionals in the business. These should help to get you started. You should start to experiment with your own variations and develop your own system for your preferred game. Start by mastering the basic ideas and then add in your own personal creative flair.

This information is meant for:

1) Amateurs, who visit the Casino for fun.

Fun as in: Enjoy the show, have free drinks and having lost little or no money when leaving the Casino. So, why not make it good fun?
Good fun as in: All of the above and leaving the Casino with more money in your pocket than when you entered it. My purpose is to make you have Good Fun in the casino.
2) Professionals, who want to make 500 units per session.

Definitions:

Casino:

A place where, for a fee*, you can bet cash money on the outcome of a perfect (unbiased) coin-toss or series of coin-tosses. If you win, you will receive cash.

*(The fee is the commission that the casino charges in the form of the House-Edge. Usually between 1.35% and 18% of the money wagered)

Roulette:

Roulette is a Negative Expectation game. This means that it is a certainty – in the long term – that it is not possible to win. In fact, roulette is just like Life itself: In the long-term, it is a certainty that we will die. In the short-term, however, life can be very pleasant!

So it is with roulette: In the short-term we CAN make nice profits, but only if we do not stay at the table too long.

Bankroll:

The amount of money that you have set aside to play with and which amount you can afford to lose. It can be the amount for the evening or the amount you wish to risk at a certain game or table or during a specified time. The bigger the bankroll is the greater is your chance of success. (Money is like ammunition. Don’t leave home without it!) Your bankroll size is a critical factor. Most losers bet too much money per bet relative to their bankroll. Do not play with a bankroll smaller than I indicate for each strategy! 카지노사이트

Warning: The casino wants your bankroll and will do everything that is legally possible to get it.

ROB:

Return-On-Bankroll: Just a different name for Return-On-Investment. A very important element in gambling, because most losses occur after having been in the black at some moment or other: People are blinded by their short-term success and then greed takes over and they throw it all away. They leave the casino with a loss, while having been in profit at sometime during the evening. Sounds familiar?

ROB is always expressed as a percentage and measured in money. The lower you set the pre-determined ROB-percentage, the greater the chance of success. Stick to your pre-determined ROB, if you want to really rob the casino!

Expectations:

‘Life is about managing expectations’ (Jean Bateau)

When going to the Casino, one must make a plan: There must be an expectation, and each individual has different expectations.

If the expectation is to double the bankroll, the chances of success are significantly lower than if the expectation is to ROB 20%. In fact, the chances to ROB 20% are 87% whereas chances of ROBBING 100% are only 9 %. (Versus loss of bankroll)

I present you a shopping-list of Betting Strategies that can help you reach you particular expectation.

I have graded them as Very Aggressive, Aggressive, Mildly Aggressive, Conservative and Fun. These are Progressive betting systems, whereby the bets increase by using your own money. These are risky strategies and there is no guarantee that you will always win. You must realise that the occasional bad streak will occur, just as sure as the occasional lucky streak will occur. You can build in your safety mechanisms into each strategy for your own comfort. This is done by limiting the progression to a level whereby you feel comfortable.

Important note: For all the strategies recommended: Do not play too long at any one table. In doing this, no one will know what you are doing. Do not make more than USD 1,000 or equivalent per table, as this will alert the Casino and you may become the focus of their attention, which is what you do not want.

Very Aggressive:

Lots of action! Concentration required. No alcohol allowed. Adrenaline-rushes.

Aggressive:

Fair amount of action! Little concentration required – after practise. Alcohol allowed. Adrenaline-rushes.

Mildly Aggressive:

Easy to track without too much concentration! Alcohol allowed. Less frequent adrenaline-rushes.

Conservative:

Lots of action! Concentration required. Alcohol allowed. Some adrenaline rushes. These strategies are designed to keep you in the casino for long hours, without major damage and possibly some decent profits.

Fun:

You may or may not make money. There is lots of action and most of the time you rake in chips. Only play this system if the drinks are free!! You will enjoy your stay at the Casino without big losses or big profits.

Recommendations:

Determine your bankroll (i.e. maximum loss) and do not lose more than that amount. If the bankroll is lost: WALK! And come back another day.
Set your profit-objective and when you reach it: WALK! And come back another day.
Play on one-Zero tables with surrender or “en prison” rules whenever available. (Normally everywhere in Western Europe and hard to find in the Americas).

A few things that you must know about roulette-mathematics:

It is a CERTAINTY that outside bets will even out. That means that after a zillion times, there will be a moment when red and black have come up the same number of times. The timing, however, is infinite, which means that for us this knowledge is worthless, as we only deal with the short term.

It is also a CERTAINTY that if Bob and Fred flip an unbiased coin, either Bob of Fred will get ahead in the first hundred flips. It is also a CERTAINTY that in only 5% of cases, one will overtake the other in the foreseeable future. This means that you must look very carefully at recent history in order to decide where to place your bets. If red has come up a significant number of times more than black, it is reasonable to predict that black will not come up a significant number of times more than red in the near term. This is important information, as most people are inclined to bet on “regression to the mean”, which means that they will tend to think that red and black will come up an equal number of times in the short term. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Knowing this, you will be mistaken in your choice of colour (or betting zone) only 5% of the time!! The Casino does not know this and, fortunately for the Casinos, most people are also uninformed about this enigma. This information is especially useful when playing the d’Alembert and Parlay betting strategies.

Luck:

Luck plays an important role in the Casino. The strategies outlined in this website do not require luck, although Lady Luck is always welcome.

The betting strategies that I have listed do require the absence of bad luck. You will only lose if you have an overdose of bad luck. Since normally you will play one side of the table, there are four possibilities:

1) You have some luck (profitable for you)

2) The table is balanced (profitable for you)

3) You have some bad luck (still profitable for you)

4) You have bad luck (You lose)

It is impossible to recognize bad luck until after it has happened. Similarly, you will not know that you are having a lucky streak until it has materialized.
